Pashto Operational Language Analyst 4 (Cleared)
Ft. Meade, MD
**ACTIVE TOP SECRET/SCI Clearance with Polygraph Required**
SCD Information Technology (SCDIT) is seeking a mission focused Pashto Operational Language Analyst Skill Level 4 (OLA4) to perform tasks required to process both voice and graphic language materials in support of SIGINT operations for a large Intelligence Community customer. Candidates must have cryptologic language processing experience and skills.
The OLA4 shall demonstrate the following cryptologic language processing skills:
  • Recover essential elements of information.
  • Render translations and/or transcripts based on straightforward, factual written and/or spoken material.
  • Gist complex and sophisticated written and/or spoken material.
  • Translate and/or transcribing complex and sophisticated written and/or spoken material.
  • Scan and sort/categorize foreign language materials.
  • Perform quality control review of translations and/or transcripts of complex and sophisticated written and/or spoken material.
  • Type on an English-language keyboard.
Requirements:
  • An active TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph is required. A CI poly may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
  • 15 years of full-time experience or 19 without a BS/BA degree.
  • Bachelor of Arts (BA)/Bachelor of Science (BS) degree, or equivalent from other countries. In lieu of the Bachelor's Degree, an additional four (4) years of directly related, applied, practical work experience may be substituted for a total of fifteen (15) years' experience.
  • Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR) Skill Level 3 in Audio and Graphic Translation Performance and/or Translation Performance from the required language(s) into idiomatic, standard American English. Scores from the NSA Civilian Language Test of Record, valid at time of resume submission, may be used as acceptable validation for text translation and audio translation skill level(s). ILR skill level validation shall be documented within two (2) years prior to resume submission.
  • 15 years full-time combined cryptologic language processing, related language, and/or related cryptologic experience.
  • Eight (8) of the 15 years experience shall be in the required language(s) and in performing Cryptologic Operations language processing.
  • Five (5) years' experience in the required language(s) shall be in translating and/or transcribing, and gisting.
  • Three (3) years experience QCing audio and graphic ILR level 3 in target language.
(U) Salary Range: $237,400 - $253,200
