Job description

JOB SUMMARY: The Golf and Party Rentals Attendant is responsible for performing a variety of duties in the golf simulator room and office, including maintaining exceptional communication with guests and co-workers. This is an at-will position

Essential Functions

· Assists supervisor in golf simulator operations, including bookings, scheduling, and collections.

· Assists with both public skate and private party rentals. This includes communications on, payment collection for private and public skate parties

· Some night and weekend hours will be scheduled depending on Golf simulator hours and events.

· Understanding of Trackman golf simulator software, Civic Rec recreation software, SportEngine Public Skate website, YGB golf booking software.

· Answer telephone and email communications and provide guest services at the registration area.

· Process daily fees, memberships, and refunds as needed.

· Clean and organize golf room and party room after use or end of night.

· Maintain paperwork on registration, refunds, and bank outs.

· Accurately attend to customer’s questions and concerns regarding registration.

· Complete all necessary forms as needed.

· Adhere to general policies and procedures of the Rolling Meadows Park District.

· Aid in contacting participants for program changes, cancellations/ closings, or wait list openings.

· Attend all meetings as requested.

QUALIFICATIONS: Must have a high school diploma or equivalent with strong customer service, computer, and math skills. A minimum of two years of guest services experience is preferred. The position requires the ability to communicate effectively with staff and the public. Knowledge of golf operations is preferred. Proficiency in online registration and reservation systems, email, Microsoft Word, and Excel is required. The ability to multitask and follow through on detailed work is crucial.

SCHEDULE & PAY:  Hiring range is $15-$20 per hour, depending upon qualifications. Hours may vary, including evenings and weekends. Plus applicable facility and program discounts.
