Job Summary

The Organized Play (OP) Relationship Manager is responsible for managing relationships with third-party vendors and partners critical to the success of the Studio's OP programs. This role focuses on collaborating with external partners to ensure the successful execution of competitive events, judge programs, and tournament software integration. The OP Manager ensures smooth communication, project management, and delivery of resources required for OP initiatives. This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and the ability to juggle multiple vendors needs simultaneously while collaborating closely with internal teams to support the execution of OP programs.

What will your role involve
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for third-party vendors supporting Organized Play, facilitating clear and effective communication
  • Coordinate competitive Organized Play events as part of the C3OP
  • program, both domestic and international, by ensuring all logistical and operational needs with external partners are met
  • Manage and nurture relationships with vendors providing services such as judge programs, tournament logistics, and software solutions, ensuring alignment with Studio OP goals
  • Work closely with asmodee Legal, Leadership and top management on getting on contracts with external partners written and signed in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with the Digital Manager to implement Organized Play needs through third-party tournament software platforms
  • Work closely with the OP Producer to facilitate the creation and delivery of content or materials required by vendors, such as event kits, banners, and other marketing assets
  • Monitor and track vendor deliverables, ensuring deadlines are met and addressing any issues that arise
  • Maintain a clear understanding of vendor agreements, scopes of work, and project timelines
  • Assist in the planning, implementation, and facilitation of Studio Organized Play events and tournaments, ensuring smooth vendor coordination
  • Develop metrics and KPIs with Organized Play Manager; generate, analyze and synthesize, and report on third-party vendor contributions, event participation, and performance metrics
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align third-party efforts with overall OP strategies and Studio goals
  • Represent the Studio professionally during interactions with vendors and partners
  • Be an active participant in brainstorming and executing innovative ideas to enhance OP events and programs
  • Take ownership of all assigned projects and deliverables, ensuring timely and effective execution
  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Familiarity with event logistics and operational workflows
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and project management tools
  • Experience with tabletop games and/or Organized Play programs is a strong plus.

Knowledge & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 1-3 years experience in vendor management, project management, or event planning
  • Experience working with third-party software providers is a plus
  • Strong experience in competitive TCG programs is a plus
