Charming Events StL, providing character experiences, party planning, and special events in the Metro East and St. Louis. Our actors love their work and bringing characters to life for children. It's our goal to provide an Event Package for every budget and make Charming Memories for children.
Job Description
With Charming Events you'll be working as an independent contractor, managing and directing children's birthday parties, corporate events, and fundraisers. Party Coordinators are required to be open and friendly with people and kids. Those who are cast in this position are chosen for their professional demeanor, positive attitude and ability to work well with children. Party Coordinators are just as vital to birthdays as the Character Actor - the Coordinator is almost a character themselves. The role is a healthy balance between organized and in control, combined with upbeat and excited. You will announce the characters arrival, get them excited for games, manage the timeline, control music and more.
RESPONSIBILITIES (will include but are not limited to) :
  • Interacting with clients - Typically parents of children
  • Anticipating the needs of guests and catering to their requests
  • Managing materials for parties and keeping them organized
  • Assisting Character Actors
  • Conducting ALL aspects of the party, and leading children through each activity on a strict timeline
  • Keeping a positive energy throughout event
  • Operating a bluetooth music system
  • Driving Character Actors to and from event location
  • Filling out Party Reports at the end of the day

Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have a drivers license and reliable vehicle
  • Must have weekend availability
  • Must be able to pass a background check
  • Must have weekend availability
  • LOVE working with children!

COMPENSATION:
