Ventus Executive Solutions is seeking a skilled Mid-Level Technical Program Manager to support an innovative program. In this role, you will provide technical program management and execution support for advanced defense research initiatives focused on cutting-edge sensing, tracking, and signal processing technologies. You will leverage deep technical expertise and program management experience to support research performers, evaluate technical progress, prepare technical documentation, and assist with program planning and execution. You should possess strong communication skills, experience briefing senior government leaders, and a background in advanced signal processing methods such as track-before-detect algorithms, synthetic tracking, velocity-space search, estimation and multi-target tracking, infrared search and track (IRST), and multi-frame integration technologies. Work Location: Arlington, VA (On-site at office a minimum of three days per week; additional on-site presence as required)

Part-Time

Travel: Less than 10%

Clearance: Active Secret required  

Required Experience:

  • Graduate degree in a related technical field.
  • Demonstrated program and/or project management experience supporting complex technical initiatives.
  • Experience leading and coordinating multidisciplinary technical teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including preparation of technical reports, white papers, presentations, and executive-level briefings.
  • Technical background in signal processing and one or more of the following areas:
  1. Track-before-detect algorithms
  2. Synthetic tracking
  3. Velocity-space search
  4. Estimation and multi-target tracking
  5. Infrared Search and Track (IRST)
  6. Multi-frame integration
  • Ability to work effectively with government, industry, and academic stakeholders.

The expected salary range for this position is $120,000 - $175,000. This range represents a good-faith estimate and is not a guarantee; final compensation is determined by factors such as experience, qualifications, and government contract labor rate requirements and may fall outside the stated range. In addition to base pay, Ventus offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes healthcare benefits (medical, dental, and vision), ESOP participation, retirement plans, and generous paid time off.
