Job description

Teaching Assistant Primary

St. Mary of the Lakes Catholic Church and School in Medford, is seeking a part-time teaching assistant for the 2026-2027 school year.ย  Our school is vibrant with about 350+ students enrolled in PreK-8th Grades.ย  ย  We are looking for someone with experience working with young children for this part time role.ย  Job responsibilities include supporting students in the classroom including reading, writing, and math skills.ย  Successful candidates will demonstrate an understanding ofย  supporting the teachers who provide educational practices including hands-on learning, differentiated instruction and a belief in constructivist learning.ย  Additional responsibilities include supervising students during lunch/recess. Candidates should have a commitment to Catholic education and enjoy working with children.ย  Successful candidates will have to pass a fingerprint/background check and take VIRTUS Training.ย  Salary will be minimum $18 an hour with daily hours on all full school days of 9AM-2:00PM.
