Job description

Part-Time Instructional Assistant

Salisbury Township School District has two part-time vacancies for Instructional Assistants. The successful candidate will support students, teachers and administrators in the learning environment by reinforcing knowledge, skills and strategies in both one-to-one and small and large group settings. Knowledge of the process of instruction and assessment is preferred. The Instructional Assistant must be able to effectively communicate with all stakeholders and build and maintain positive working relationships. The position is part-time, 4 hours/day, Monday-Friday, starting salary $21.07/hour. Qualifications: Preferred 2 years of college of PA credential certificate, CPR/First Aid certification; competency with written and spoken English language; ability to effectively communicate with young children and adults; ability to carry out assigned tasks with minimal supervision; ability and willingness to collaborate; basic understanding of the teaching, learning and assessment process; ability to plan and organize efficiently and effectively; and ability to work ethically and professionally.ย
