Opening for 2026-2027 Academic Year
St. Joseph's Academy is an all-girls Catholic high school in Baton Rouge, LA.ย  Our mission is to educate young women as responsible and unifying members of the world community.ย  In the spirit and charism of the Sisters of St. Joseph, St. Joseph's Academy offers opportunities for faith development in the Catholic tradition, academic excellence and personal growth.ย ย 
SJA seeks a part-time teacher who is enthusiastic about biology and physical science. Must develop and deliver engaging curriculum that fosters a positive environment for learning and promotes scientific inquiry, critical thinking, collaboration, problem-solving and an understanding of scientific concepts and real-world applications. Must assess student progress and provide constructive feedback while collaborating with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience. This part-time position follows a daily schedule with shortened teaching hours.
Qualifications: Bachelorโ€™s degree in science field, Science Education or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
