Job description

Consultant (Geopolitical and Geoeconomic Affairs)(remote only)

Role Summary

We are recruiting a fully remote, part-time Consultant to strengthen our global advisory team. The role focuses on continuous monitoring and in-depth analysis of global geopolitical, geoeconomic, security and regulatory dynamics. You will identify cross-border operational risks, evaluate macro strategic trends, and deliver actionable analytical insights and tailored risk-mitigation strategies to support clients' long-term international business layout and strategic decision-making.

Core Responsibilities

1. Geopolitical & Geoeconomic Intelligence Analysis

Conduct rigorous qualitative and quantitative research on global political shifts, economic competition, security dynamics and industrial policy changes, prioritizing high-risk regions and emerging crisis trends. Track legislative, regulatory and market developments, and synthesize multi-source information into standardized policy briefs and analytical memos to support high-level strategic judgment.

2. Multidimensional Risk Assessment & Forecasting

Identify and evaluate geopolitical and geoeconomic risks including trade frictions, economic sanctions, diplomatic tensions and supply chain volatility. Model their cascading impacts on corporate overseas operations, and develop targeted mitigation solutions for clients across finance, trade, emerging technology, energy and infrastructure sectors.

3. Government & High-Level Stakeholder Engagement

Support client advocacy and liaison with congressional offices, federal agencies, industry associations and institutional stakeholders. Prepare executive-level briefing materials, coordinate multi-party meetings and follow-up work, and ensure timely delivery of project priorities and strategic outcomes.

4. Professional Strategic Consultancy Deliverables

Produce high-quality client deliverables including policy analysis reports, market opportunity assessments and strategic roadmaps. Translate complex global geopolitical and geoeconomic changes into structured, executable strategic advice for C-suite and institutional clients.

Required Qualifications & Competencies

- Preferred: Minimum 1 year of professional working experience within federal government agencies, congressional institutions, chambers of commerce, think tanks, top-tier consulting firms, lobbying and government relations agencies, military sectors, defense contractors, or trade promotion institutions. Candidates with practical experience delivering policy consulting, academic research, project management, intelligence analysis, or lobbying and consulting services for the aforementioned institutions are highly preferred.

- Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex information into decision-ready briefings for senior legislative and executive authorities, covering politics, security, defense, economy and technology domains.

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of delivering rigorous, executive-level strategic counsel for corporate and institutional stakeholders.

- Adaptable to fast-paced, high-stakes working scenarios, with outstanding cross-team coordination, rapid research synthesis and project execution capabilities.

Benefits

We offer market-competitive, project-based remuneration with no workload ceiling. This fully flexible remote role enables you to participate in high-level cross-border strategic consulting projects, delivering high-impact analysis that directly supports clients' global business and investment strategies.
