Job description

Type: Full- or Part-Time Internship, 3 months, with potential to convert
About RocketRide.ai
RocketRide is an SF-based AI startup pushing the boundaries of open source agentic workflows - helping developers build smarter systems that work for them. Our meta-harness connects automation, AI, and open collaboration into something fast, flexible, and deeply useful.
About the Role
We're searching for AI Growth Engineer Interns for the fall term (mid-Sep through mid-Dec), who are technical, energetic, and community-minded and ready to help tell our story, grow our open source movement, and represent us with real developer credibility.
What You'll Do
  • Drive developer-first social content. Ideate, create, and publish technical content across X, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Reddit that developers actually want to engage with.
  • Experiment with AI tools. Prototype and experiment with AI agents and workflows (OpenClaw, CrewAI, etc.) to automate campaigns, generate content, and uncover new growth loops.
  • Grow the funnel. Design and run creative digital experiments that turn awareness into signups, usage, and community engagements.
  • (For one intern) Facilitate our podcast. Leverage your A/V, streaming, and camera skills for recording and production, conduct guest research and outreach, and edit episodes into clips, blog posts, and social content.
What You Bring
  • Up to ~2 years of hands-on software experience. You write solid code, build and run demos, contribute to repos, and credibly engage with developers at a technical level.
  • You have public contributions (a GitHub project, personal site, plugin, or content) that you're proud to show us.
  • You are fluent with modern AI tools and love pushing them in creative ways for storytelling, automation, or content generation.
  • You're comfortable speaking on camera, in livestreams, and in front of live audiences.
  • You love multitasking across tech, community, content, and marketing - and want to grow into a role that touches all of them.
  • You're able to work from our San Francisco office regularly at least 3 days/week, as part of our hybrid team.
Bonus Points
  • Video editing and post-production skills (Premiere, Final Cut, DaVinci, or similar).
  • Recording experience behind a mic and camera in studio or on-location settings.
  • Social media management experience, including scheduling, analytics, and community engagement across platforms.
Why You'll Love This
  • You get to run fast experiments that blend technical creativity and community building.
  • You'll learn a ton about the emerging agentic AI ecosystem, GTM strategy, and startup execution.
  • You will have a front-row seat to the next wave of AI-driven developer tooling and play a direct part in shaping it.
