Tax Reviewer (Seasonal or Part-Time)
At Jones & Roth, we're a people-first firm where experienced professionals can shape a career that works for them. If you enjoy high-level technical review work and are looking for flexibility outside of traditional busy season demands, this could be a great fit.
We're looking for an experienced Tax Reviewer to support our team on a seasonal or part-time basis. In this role, you'll focus on reviewing private company and individual tax returns, partnering with our team to deliver quality work and thoughtful insights to clients.
What You'll Do
  • Review business (private company) tax returns for accuracy, completeness, and compliance
  • Review individual income tax returns (Form 1040 and related schedules)
  • Provide clear, actionable feedback to preparers
  • Partner with client relationship managers to work through issues and support communication
  • Communicate tax adjustments and implications in a clear, professional way

Seasonal Focus:
  • Busy Season: February - April
  • Extension Season: August - October 15

Outside of peak periods, there's potential for ongoing part-time or project-based work, depending on your preferences.
