Job description

Position: Religion Teacher
Location: St. Thomas Aquinas School (Cleveland, OH)
Type: Part-Time (approximately 20 hours per week)
St. Thomas Aquinas School is accepting applications for a part-time Religion teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. We are looking for educators who share an unwavering commitment to raising student achievement and an appreciation and respect for Catholic culture, identity, and values.
Partnership Schools teachers are eager for continuous feedback as they develop their instructional practice and grow professionally. At Partnership Schools, we support teachers through weekly school-based professional development, network-wide PD meetings, and coaching and feedback sessions from school-site leadership.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Developing a positive and structured classroom environment that engages students and motivates them to succeed
  • Assuming responsibility for the academic progress of students
  • Developing weekly written lesson plans
  • Fulfilling the school’s mission to educate the whole child: mind, body, and spirit
  • Taking accountability for student learning and meeting classroom performance goals
  • Creating and communicating with families of students in a positive and respectful manner
  • Participating in ongoing professional development sessions to grow as an educator​

Position Requirements:
  • A bachelor’s degree from a competitive university is required
  • Must be a practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church
  • Must pass a background check
Compensation: The salary range for this position is $21,000-$30,000 commensurate with experience.
