About the opportunity

Join Mercy Health's Patient Support Services and Systems team and play a key role in delivering an innovative digital transformation project. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the implementation of a Digital Mailroom solution that will modernise patient communications, improve the patient experience, reduce manual administrative processes, and deliver operational efficiencies across the organisation. Working closely with key stakeholders, project team members and vendors, you will drive meaningful change that has a direct impact on both patients and staff.

As the Project Lead - Digital Mailroom, you will be responsible for the successful implementation of a Digital Mailroom solution that delivers outpatient appointment letters via SMS to patients, improving patient communication and reducing manual workflows and postage costs

You will lead all aspects of project delivery, including planning, implementation, evaluation, stakeholder engagement, communication, training and change management activities.

Working collaboratively with the Project Officer, clinical and operational stakeholders, and external vendors, you will manage project risks, timelines and budgets to ensure successful delivery and sustained business benefits.

What you'll bring

You're an experienced project professional who is passionate about digital innovation, stakeholder engagement and delivering positive outcomes in healthcare. Most importantly, you are committed to improving the experience of patients and supporting teams through successful change

To thrive in this role, you will have:

• Demonstrated project management experience, ideally within a healthcare environment.
• Strong change management, communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of an organisation.
• Excellent organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines.
• Experience developing project documentation, managing risks and delivering successful business change initiatives.
• A collaborative and positive approach, with the ability to build strong relationships and lead teams through change.

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:

• A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
• Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders

Qualifications

• Health Information Management (HIM), Information Technology or other Health Administration related qualification.
• Project Management qualifications (e.g. PRINCE2) are desirable but not mandatory
