About the Opportunity

Exciting opportunity to join our Environmental Services Department. We are seeking qualified, motivated Patient Services Assistants to join us. You will be an integral member of our team and provide patient centric cleaning duties, food & beverage services, transportation of patients and patient support.

  • Casual positions Monday to Sunday.

  • Day shifts, afternoon shifts, and night shift positions.

  • Busy fast-paced environment.

  • Responsible for ensuring that Victorian Public Health cleaning and Food Safety standards are met.

What you'll bring

You're resilient, compassionate and have a whole lot of heart. Most importantly, you are committed to delivering exceptional patient-centred care.

To thrive in this role, you will have:

  • Health Services Assistant Certificate lll, or equivalent, or working towards completing.

  • Current Food Handling Certificate.

  • Excellent customer service skills and have a passion for attention to detail.

  • Demonstrated ability to show initiative and work within a team environment.

  • Highly developed verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.

  • Ability to understand Patients' diet codes.

  • Enthusiastic and a positive can-do attitude.

  • A commitment to policies and procedures in order to maintain a safe and healthy environment for patients, staff and members of the public.

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:

  • A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.

  • Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
