Full job description

Payroll Administrator needed for established Beaver, PA accounting firm. This position is a full-time, in office position. Our firm is looking for someone to assist in payroll tax preparation and payroll.

Job Requirements:

  • Dependability with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to handle a variety of tasks independently

  • 2+ years' experience with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel

  • Applicants with previous experience working in accounting preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and process weekly hourly payroll

  • Assist in payroll tax preparation

  • Track and deduct all garnishments and other special payroll deductions

  • Review and ensure accuracy of approved timesheets

  • Resolve payroll discrepancies

  • Supply payroll reports as needed

  • Complete tax payments and reporting.

  • Complete monthly cash and bank reconciliations

  • Maintain oversight of payables, receivables, collections and payroll

  • Reconcile year end W-2's

  • Assist CPA with tax filings
