Childcare Floater Teacher

We're looking for aChildcare Floater Teacher to work at our center in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolinawho is flexible, dependable, and passionate about helping classrooms run smoothly while creating a warm, safe, and engaging environment for children.
This role is perfect for educators who enjoy variety, teamwork, and making a difference throughout the school day.

What Is a Floater Teacher?
As a Floater Teacher, you'll:
  • Support multiple classrooms as needed
  • Step in to assist with ratios, breaks, transitions, and coverage
  • Work with different age groups, from infants through PreK
  • Be a valued part of the teaching team across the school
No two days are the same - and that's what many of our floaters love most about the role.

Schedule
Monday-Friday; multiple shifts available!
  • 2:00pm - 6:00pm
  • 8:00am - 5:00pm

Compensation
Competitive hourly pay based on education and experience
  • $14-16 per hour
    PLUS: $500 SignOn Bonus! The sign-on bonus is only available for full-time employees.
    • $250 paid after 30 days of employment
    • $250 paid after 90 days of employment

What You'll Do
  • Assist Lead and Assistant Teachers in daily classroom activities
  • Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized learning environment
  • Support children's emotional, social, cognitive, and physical development
  • Step into classrooms as needed to maintain ratios and coverage
  • Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members
  • Follow all licensing, safety, and center policies

What We're Looking For
  • High school diploma or GED (required)
  • Previous childcare or classroom experience is a plus
  • Ability to pass required background checks
  • Flexibility and willingness to work with different age groups
  • Positive attitude, reliability, and a teamfirst mindset
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of working with young children, including lifting up to 40 lbs.
