Parts Counter Sales Associate
About the role: The Parts Counter Sales Associate will assist customers in finding and purchasing the right parts, process orders, manage inventory, and provide excellent customer service, all while promoting sales and specials. Will be expected to provide accurate information when addressing customer inquiries.
$20/hr plus parts sales bonus

Responsibilities
Order Processing
  • Process customer orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in filling requests
  • Ensure pricing, payment and delivery information is correct

Inventory Management
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels and monitor stock
  • Report any discrepancies or damage to inventory to the supervisor
Sales and Promotion
  • Highlight parts sales and specials. Upsell related products
  • Answer telephone calls, provide accurate information and take customer orders
  • Assist service and customers to ensure ordered parts are delivered on time
  • Process returns and exchanges, ensuring proper handling of parts and credits
  • Keep record of all returned parts
Customer Service
  • Answer all incoming calls in a professional and timely manner
  • Welcome customers and determine their needs whether in person or over the telephone
  • Assist customers in identifying the correct parts for their vehicle, using catalogs, computer systems, and knowledge of the automotive industry
