Job description

Overhead Door Company of St. Louis, a DH Pace Company, Inc. is seeking to hire a Showroom Representative/Counter Parts Sales Associate to provide administrative support to staff, department and management. This individual will be responsible for representing the company in a professional manner, counter parts sales, and troubleshooting. Standard work hours Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm. Commission opportunity!

Position Overview:

  • Represent the company in a professional manner with good customer service and verbal communication skills
  • Communicate with customer, supervisor or other office personnel in an effective and timely manner
  • Provide administrative support to staff, department and management. Receive incoming calls from customers that require service/sales by identify the type of call, type of problem, and then schedule the service appointment assuring the customers timing preference is met for a specific day and time of day
  • Review, receive, and process parts deliveries and technician parts picklists
  • Troubleshoot and walk customers through remote-control set up
  • Provide details about various doors in the showroom for customers
  • Utilize a gas cutting torch and other hand tools to cut springs/cables
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced work environment
  • Detailed oriented team player with good interpersonal skills
  • Computer proficient
  • Must be able to lift over 20 lbs
  • Must be comfortable utilizing hand tools, including, but not limited to, a gas cutting torch
