We have a new opportunity in Northbrook, IL for a Tool Room Associate. As the Tool Room Associate, you will assist in the day-to-day running of the tool room and warehouse, coordinating and delivering the necessary equipment and materials to support our day-to-day operations.

 

You Are:

  • EXPERIENCED: Previous experience in Tool Room or Shipping and Receiving positions preferred but not required
  • KNOWLEDGEABLE: Safety oriented; Experienced in Material Handling and Inventory Management preferred but not required
  • A COMMUNICATOR: Effectively communicate both verbally and written to varied levels of audiences
  • ORGANIZED: Able to prioritize and follow up to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • REQUIRED: Possess a valid driver’s license with a clear driving record; able to travel and access job sites as required

What you’ll do:

  • MANAGE: Assist in the handling, storing, and delivering of equipment, materials and supplies; keep the shop space organized
  • HANDLE: Adhere to all warehouse safety regulations while accurately preparing and loading outbound orders for timely customer delivery
  • PUT SAFETY FIRST: Demonstrate understanding of and follow all safety regulations and practices, both in the shop and on job sites
  • INVENTORY: Manage incoming and outgoing tools, parts inventory, and equipment to ensure accurate tracking and operational efficiency, while utilizing the latest technology
