Powersports & RV Parts Manager

 

Overview:
We are seeking a driven and experienced Powersports & RV Parts Manager to lead our parts department. This role is responsible for overseeing inventory, maximizing profitability, delivering exceptional customer service, and supporting both service and sales teams in a fast-paced dealership environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of the parts department for RV and Powersports units (ATVs, UTVs, motorcycles, etc.)
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels through ordering, stocking, and cycle counts
  • Develop and implement pricing strategies to maximize gross profit
  • Work closely with service technicians to ensure timely parts availability
  • Assist retail and wholesale customers with parts inquiries and sales
  • Track department performance, including gross profit, turns, and obsolescence
  • Hire, train, and lead parts team members
  • Maintain strong vendor relationships and negotiate pricing when possible
  • Ensure clean, organized, and efficient parts department operations
 

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of parts management experience (RV, Powersports, or Automotive preferred)
  • Strong understanding of inventory control and dealership operations
  • Experience with dealership management systems (IDS, CDK, or similar)
  • Proven track record of increasing sales and gross profit
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
