What You'll Do:
Are you ready to take the reins of a dynamic parts department and drive success in a key leadership role? We are seeking a passionate and experienced Parts Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our parts department. This is a unique chance to influence the department's profitability and efficiency while leading a dedicated team.
Financial Responsibilities
  • Prepares and administers an annual operating budget
  • Reviews daily budget and department performance reports
  • Reviews inventory reports and profit and loss reports
  • Monitors and maintains current levels of inventory

Supervisory Duties
  • Manages front counter and warehouse staff
  • Motivates, trains, schedules, evaluates, coaches and counsels employees
  • Develops, enforces and monitors guidelines for working with customers to ensure maximum customer satisfaction
  • Enforces policies and procedures

Customer Service Responsibilities
  • Maintains excellent customer service standards
  • Communicates customer service standards to department personnel
  • Resolves customer complaints immediately and provides conflict resolution to customers according to company guidelines
  • Works with Service Manager to ensure a timely turnaround of parts needed for internal jobs
  • Visits customers to provide and maintain excellent customer relations
  • Visits customers to help generate more sales
  • Establishes and enforces a pricing policy that balances volume, customer loyalty and the cost of doing business

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Parts expertise and knowledge: A solid understanding of automotive/truck parts is essential for success in this role.
  • Team Supervision Experience: Proven experience in directly supervising and leading teams, with a focus on fostering an inclusive and collaborative work environment.
  • Inventory Management, Purchasing, and Acquisition Skills: While not mandatory, a background in inventory management, purchasing, and acquisition would be highly beneficial in excelling in this position.
  • Effective Cross-Functional Communication and Collaboration Skills: Ability to communicate effectively across various functions and collaborate seamlessly with team members and stakeholders.
  • 5+ Years of Experience in Heavy-Duty Trucks (Preferred): A minimum of 5 years of experience in heavy-duty trucks is preferred, showcasing a strong foundation in the industry.
  • Knowledge of Supplies, Equipment, and Mechanical Parts (Advantageous): Familiarity with supplies, equipment, and mechanical parts would be an added advantage, contributing to a more comprehensive understanding of the role.
  • Customer Service Excellence: A commitment to delivering excellent customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction is a top priority.
  • Managerial Experience: Previous managerial experience is required, demonstrating the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
  • Strong Leadership Skills: Possess strong leadership skills, capable of guiding a team towards achieving common goals while promoting a positive and inclusive work culture.

Compensation:
  • $70,000-$80,000 annual salary + Lucrative monthly Bonus Plan
