Job description

Parts Manager 
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Parts Manager for a company based in Tuscaloosa, AL. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for inventory management, customer service, and sales support. This position is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with customers and internal teams to ensure parts are accurately tracked and readily available.

Pay Rate 
$25.00 per hour

Schedule and Hours 
Monday through Friday, 7 00 am to 4 00 pm.

Parts Manager Duties and Responsibilities
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts and inventory audits.
• Receive, inspect, organize, and stock incoming parts and materials.
• Assist customers with parts inquiries, product information, and order processing.
• Provide inside sales support by preparing quotes, processing orders, and following up with customers.
• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate parts or solutions.
• Maintain accurate documentation for inventory transactions and sales activity.
• Communicate with vendors and suppliers regarding orders, availability, and delivery schedules.
• Utilize computer systems to enter orders, track inventory, and update customer information.
 
Parts Manager Qualifications and Requirements 
• Must have 10+ years of inventory management experience.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory management systems.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Mechanical or equipment knowledge is a plus.
