Position Summary:

Position: Parts Runner

Type: Full Time

Location: Incubator Head Office, Fort McKay - Applicants local to Fort McMurray

Schedule: 7 on / 7 off, Dayshift, 12 hour days


Compensation Details:

  • Vacation pay at 6% - paid out bi-weekly upon start date
  • Health & Dental and Long-Term Disability Benefits - eligible after 3 months of continuous service

Role Summary:

The Parts Runner is responsible for supporting daily operations by efficiently picking up, delivering, and organizing parts and materials. This role assists with inventory management, receiving processes, and freight distribution while maintaining accurate documentation and workflow. The position ensures a clean, organized, and safe work environment, demonstrates strong safety practices, and maintains a safe driving record at all times.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Pull, stock, and retrieve parts as required
  • Maintain paper flow and assist in the receiving process
  • Excel in safety performance
  • Identify, pick up and deliver required parts
  • Organize inventory and act as a warehouse attendant
  • Deliver freight and distribute to appropriate locations
  • Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse and working area
  • Maintain a safe driving record

Education & Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Experience related to the position, preferably in oil sands project and construction sites
  • Automotive/heavy equipment parts experience is required
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Proven organizational and time management skills
  • Strong ability to multi-task and pay attention to detail
  • You demonstrate an uncompromising commitment to Health and Safety.
  • CSO (Common Safety Orientation) Certificate is required
  • WHMIS certificate is required
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License required.
