A parts delivery driver takes auto or machine parts to commercial clients with limited inventory, such as an auto repair shop. As a parts driver, your duties are to gather parts to fulfill orders and load them into your delivery car, van, or truck; you must then unload parts at the auto shop or client location. When making deliveries, you act as a customer service representative for your auto parts dealer. Your goal is to earn repeat customers through exemplary service. Your other responsibilities include unloading parts deliveries to restock your inventory, cleaning your workspace and delivery vehicle, and documenting orders.
