Job description

Looking for a great place to start your career? We’ll provide the training—you bring a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

This job starts on a 3-month contract, and can lead to a permanent, full-time position.

We’re looking for a friendly, dependable person to join our Parts team at our International truck dealership in Medicine Hat.

No previous parts, automotive, or dealership experience is required. We’re happy to train the right person and help you learn the role from the ground up. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for steady work, a supportive team environment, and the opportunity to build a long-term career.

 What You’ll Do

As a Parts & Delivery Associate, you’ll help keep our Parts Department organized and make sure our customers and technicians get the parts they need. Your day will include a mix of driving, organizing, helping coworkers, and learning how a busy parts department operates.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Picking up and delivering parts within Medicine Hat
  • Receiving, sorting, and organizing incoming shipments
  • Helping maintain an organized parts and inventory area
  • Preparing parts for customers and technicians
  • Assisting the Parts team with day-to-day tasks
  • Learning our inventory and parts systems
  • Providing friendly, helpful service to customers and coworkers
 What We’re Looking For

You do not need previous parts or automotive experience to be successful in this role. We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Friendly, dependable, and willing to learn
  • Organized and able to manage their time
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
  • Able to communicate professionally with customers and coworkers
  • Safety-conscious and responsible
  • Comfortable with a role that includes walking, moving parts, and occasional heavy lifting
  • In possession of a valid driver's licence
 We’ll Help You Learn

You won’t be expected to know everything when you start. Training is provided, and our experienced team will help you learn our products, systems, customers, and processes.

For someone interested in building a career, this position can also be a starting point for advancement within our Parts Department, including the opportunity to work toward becoming a Parts Technician.

 Why Join Us?

We believe a good workplace is one where people feel welcomed, supported, and given the opportunity to grow. We offer:

  • On-the-job training
  • Competitive wages
  • A comprehensive benefits package
  • A supportive, team-oriented workplace
  • Opportunities to learn new skills
  • Opportunities for advancement and apprenticeship
  • Stable, full-time employment in an established dealership

If you’re dependable, enjoy working with people, and are interested in learning something new, we encourage you to apply—even if you’ve never worked in the automotive or heavy-truck industry before.

We’d be happy to meet you and tell you more about the opportunity.

We thank everyone who applies for their interest. Applicants selected for an interview will be contacted.
