Group 1 Toyota Saco is part of fast-growing Group 1 Automotive, a leader in automotive retail, and we are looking to add a qualified Automotive Parts Retail Counter Salesperson to our team.

Responsibilities:
  • Meet and assist the customer in a courteous and professional manner, providing them with the information they need
  • Assist technicians, service advisors, and the sales department in identifying, locating, and obtaining the correct automotive parts for repairs or maintenance
  • Manage parts inventory, shop supplies, and maintain accurate records using inventory management systems
  • Process orders, receive and stock incoming parts, and ensure inventory is stocked in the correct location
  • Maintain the parts department in a clean and organized manner
  • Accurately price parts and accessories using the proper pricing source and keep the computer system up to date
  • Answer telephone calls promptly and provide professional service ensuring the customer's needs are met
  • Inform customers of any current specials
  • Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the Company's Values in all interactions with customers, co-workers, and vendors
  • This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, a sense of urgency, and a solid understanding of automobiles to ensure efficient and accurate service for both internal and external GP1 employees

Qualifications:
  • Automotive parts department experience is preferred
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Professional appearance and work ethic
  • Ability to work well in a process-driven environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver license in the state that you will work and a good driving record
