Parts Counter Associate Job Description:

The Parts Counter Associate is responsible for supporting the service department and wholesale customers. In this position, your responsibilities include quoting, selling and stocking parts. Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish
  • Work with technicians to identify parts accurately
  • Complete special order part requests
  • Communicate with the service department on parts status
  • Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures
  • Understand and follow federal, state, and local regulations applicable to the industry
Requirements:
  • Previous experience at a Ford dealership is a plus
  • Ability to identify problems quickly
  • Knowledge of automobiles
  • Effective analytical and communication skills
  • Strong reading, computer, and mathematics skills
  • Ability to learn new technology, repair, and service procedures and specifications
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with auto parts sales (preferred)

Compensation:
