Toyota South is expanding their hours to better be able to assist our growing customer needs and we have an immediate opening for an energetic and customer-focused Parts Counterperson to join our team. In this dynamic role, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers and service technicians, assisting them in identifying and acquiring the right parts for their needs. The ideal candidate has strong product knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing outstanding service.


Pay is starting at $14-16 per hour, based on experience

Hours would consist of 10 am to 7 pm 4 days a week, and 10 pm till 7 pm on Saturdays. You will get a day off of your choice during the week, but must consistently be able to work stated hours, especially Saturday.

  • Assist retail and wholesale customers, in-person and over the phone, with their parts inquiries.
  • Provide accurate price quotes and product information using parts catalogs and computer systems.
  • Process orders, complete sales transactions, and handle returns and exchanges with accuracy.
  • Manage parts inventory by receiving and stocking new parts, performing regular cycle counts, and ensuring a clean and organized parts area.
  • Collaborate with the service department and internal technicians to ensure they receive the correct parts in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing customer complaints professionally.
  • Stay up-to-date on new products, recalls, and updates through training programs and product knowledge materials.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in automotive, heavy-duty truck, or equipment parts sales is preferred.
  • Knowledge of parts and mechanical systems.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift heavy parts weighing at least 50 lbs.
