Description

Ready to work with a team of dedicated assemblers, to achieve a common goal? We are looking for motivated individuals to join our successful assembly team on 2nd shift.


Wages: $20 - $22, depending on experience

Work Hours 1st Shift: 6am - 4pm, Monday - Thursday

Work Hours 2nd Shift: 4pm - 2am, Monday - Thursday

Shift Premium Dollars: $1.50 per hour worked on 2nd shift

Monthly Bonus Opportunity: earn up to $250 monthly safety and attendance bonus



Primary Functions

Perform repetitive bench operations to assemble units or sub-assemblies having few parts and details, and where tolerances are liberal or controlled by jigs and fixtures.


Duties

  • Assemble units or sub-assemblies
  • Use hand or bench type power tools
  • Follow detail work instructions
  • Minor adjustments to ensure free action of moving parts and operating requirements
  • Inspect parts and recognize defective parts
  • Rotate jobs within the cell on a regular basis
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements

The physical requirements for this position require continuous standing and intermittent walking, bending, sitting, and lifting of parts that may at times be up to 50 lbs. This is a fast-paced assembly environment, working in a cell. The Mechanical Assembler B should have the physical and mental ability to perform the above necessary job functions while maintaining an exemplary safety record.

Skills and Experience

Requires general knowledge of machining fundamental, shop arithmetic, print reading and measuring procedures.


Educational Requirements

One year basic assembly experience in a manufacturing/machining environment preferred, but we are willing to train the right person with a great attitude.
