CSI Companies is hiring a Central Distribution Manager for our Fortune 100 healthcare client in Greenbrae, CA (near the intersection of Bon Air Rd and S Eliseo Dr).


Job Summary

The Central Distribution Manager is primarily responsible for overseeing hospital supply distribution operations, ensuring critical medical and surgical supplies are available to support patient care. This leader manages frontline distribution teams, drives operational efficiency, maintains regulatory compliance, and partners with clinical departments to support the hospital's supply chain strategy.


Pay: $39.50 โ€“ 49.50 an hour based on experience (overtime will be paid at 1.5 times the normal hourly pay rate).

Hours: Full Time - Monday-Friday (6am-3pm, 7am-4pm, or 8am to 5pm)

Location: Fully onsite in Greenbrae, CA

Job Duties:

  • Direct daily supply distribution activities, including receiving, inventory control, replenishment, and delivery of materials across the hospital
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of approximately 20 employees while fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and service excellence
  • Monitor inventory performance and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and supply availability
  • Collaborate with clinical, surgical, and operational stakeholders to identify needs, resolve supply-related issues, and support uninterrupted patient care
  • Utilize ERP and inventory management systems to manage operations, analyze performance metrics, and support data-driven decision-making
  • Support audit readiness, regulatory inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives across supply chain operations


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain, materials management, logistics, inventory control, or a related operational environment
  • 3+ years of people leadership experience, including staff development, performance management, and operational oversight
  • Experience managing inventory systems, process improvement initiatives, and day-to-day distribution operations


Highly Preferred

  • Large corporation experience
  • Health plan / managed care / healthcare industry experience
  • Leadership experience within an acute care hospital or healthcare supply chain environment
  • Experience using Workday or similar ERP platforms
  • Experience supervising unionized workforces
  • Knowledge of Joint Commission standards, regulatory compliance, and healthcare accreditation requirements

Dress Code

  • Hospital-issued scrubs are provided; closed-toe, non-slip footwear is required
