The Position
Genentech, Inc. seeks a PD Growth and Performance Partner at its South San Francisco, CA location.
Duties: Facilitate the design of learning strategies, solutions and programs enabling Product Development (PD) talent to thrive and develop capabilities and behaviors that drive organizational transformation to achieve the Pharma vision, by delivering highly impactful learning strategies and solutions in strong connection to the business needs. Gain PD and business insights to enable alignment of learning and development strategies. Apply agile methodologies to ensure that the learning and coaching needs of the customer are met with the highest business impact. Develop learning solutions in collaboration with customers and business partners through co-creation. Collect, analyze, and use large data sets in real time to discern meaningful insights about the PD talent including performance, engagement, coaching and learning. Follow emerging learning trends and technologies and foster an environment that promotes innovation, creativity and experimentation. Advance agile maturity in support of business transformation that delivers better outcomes to more patients faster.
Education and experience required: Bachelor's degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Learning and Development, Life Sciences (such as Biology, Neuroscience, Genetics, Medicine, Psychology), or a closely related field and 4 years of experience as a Learning Manager, Learning Coordinator, Training Manager or closely related position.
Special Requirements: Full term of experience must include each of the following:
1. Learning management system Cornerstone
2. Corporate Identity Management Tool CIDM
3. Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Product Ownership, and Successive Approximation Model (SAM model)
4. Develop learning solutions in collaboration with customers and business partners
5. Adult learning theory and instructional design practices
6. Foundational understanding of the pharmaceutical industry standard (including GxP - GMP, GCP) training regulations;
7. Procedural knowledge of overall pharmaceutical drug development lifecycle/process
May telecommute 2 days per week.

The expected annual salary range for this position based on the primary location for this position of South San Francisco, California is $185,472 to $247,300 per year. Actual pay within the range will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
