Job Summary:
Under the direction of the System Director, Revenue Cycle Performance, the Director, Revenue Cycle Partnership Performance leads strategic efforts to oversee and optimize revenue cycle performance for partnership entities utilizing BSWH’s centralized infrastructure.
This role serves as the primary liaison between Revenue Cycle Operations and partner entity leadership, translating performance data into actionable insights while collaborating with operational leaders to identify barriers, constraints, workflow challenges, and system limitations. 
The Director supports the development of performance standards and communication frameworks to ensure scalable, high-touch oversight and partners across Finance, Compliance, IT, Revenue Integrity, Managed Care, and regional leadership to drive transparency, accountability, and sustainable results.


Essential Functions of the Role:
•    Serve as the primary point of contact for partnership entities utilizing BSWH revenue cycle services, ensuring clear and consistent communication of performance outcome.
•    Translate revenue cycle metrics, trends, and operational data into actionable insights for partner executives and regional stakeholders.
•    Lead structured partnership performance reviews, including presentation of KPIs, risk areas, improvement plans, and financial impact analysis.
•    Partner with Revenue Cycle Operations to understand workflow barriers, staffing challenges, system limitations, and process gaps impacting partnership performance.
•    Coordinate cross-functional efforts to resolve escalated issues affecting revenue capture, cash flow, denial performance, and reimbursement accuracy.
•    Identify performance variation across regions or entities and collaborate with operations to implement best practices and standardization strategies.
•    Support onboarding, integration, and performance oversight for new partnership entities as the portfolio expands.
•     Escalate systemic risks and financial exposure to senior leadership with recommended mitigation strategies.
•    Leverage analytics tools, dashboards, and system capabilities (including Epic and reporting platforms) to enhance performance visibility and responsiveness.
•     Operate effectively within a matrixed environment, influencing stakeholders without direct authority to achieve aligned outcomes.
•    Coordinate across departments and regions to ensure partnership expectations are balanced with operational feasibility.
•    Partner with stakeholders to present operational challenges along with actionable plans for resolution.

•    Ability to navigate complex stakeholder dynamics while maintaining operational integrity.
•    Strong understanding of healthcare reimbursement methodologies and compliance standards

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Epic EHR (Hospital and Professional Billing modules)
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Clinic or Hospital operations, IS, Managed Care, Finance, and Revenue Analytics teams.
  • Certification(s) such as CHFP, CRCR, or equivalent preferred but not required.

  • EDUCATION - Bachelor's or 4 years of work experience above the minimum qualification; Master's degree very highly preferred
  • EXPERIENCE - 3 Years of Experience, 5 years of progressive experience in healthcare revenue cycle, financial operations, or performance management preferred. Experience working within a matrixed or integrated healthcare delivery system is strongly preferred.
