We are hiring for a Performance Management Consultant to join our Employee Development and Performance Team!ย

Employment Status: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

Location: Hybrid - Our regional Corporate offices are located in Calgary, Edmonton, and Red Deer

The Performance Management Consultant is a strategic partner responsible for designing, running, and continuously improving Servusโ€™ enterprise performance management system so it drives real business performance, clear expectations, and equitable, differentiated outcomes.ย 

Our Performance Management Consultant collaborates with leaders and People and Culture professionals to act as a trusted advisor, translating performance data, leader input, and employee experience into practical guidance and scalable tools that build organizational maturity, strengthen leader capability, and embed consistent practicesโ€”fostering a high-performance culture and aligning individual goals with organizational strategy.ย 

What You'll Be Doing:ย 

  • Designing, running, and continuously improving the enterprise performance management cycle, including goal setting, check-ins, and calibration.
  • Driving goal quality and alignment by maintaining goal setting standards, templates, and rubrics.ย 
  • Enabling effective leader routines by setting clear expectations for check ins, coaching, and management of underperformance.ย 
  • Run calibration of the processes with rigor and credibility to roles, timing, decision criteria, and documentation.ย 
  • Use data, technology, and AI deliberately to define and track key performance management measures and report trends to business leaders.ย 
  • Govern and evolve the system to establish clear governance, annual cadence, and decision rights for performance management.ย 

What You Bring:

Experience:

  • Progressive experience (typically 5+ years) in performance management, HR consulting, or organizational development roles.ย 
  • Deep expertise in performance management design, calibration, and enterprise standards.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to translate strategy into practical people systems.ย 
  • Experience with UKG would be considered an asset, however other HR platform experience is also desirable, IE., Workday, Dayforce, SuccessFactors
  • Proven experience influencing leaders without direct authority.
  • High comfort with data, analytics, and evidence-based decision making.ย 
  • Experience simplifying, automating, and improving people processes.

Education:ย 

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CPMP, APTD, CPTD) are considered assets.
  • Change management (Prosci) is considered an asset.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) considered an asset.ย 
  • ATD Master Performance Consultant Program considered an asset

Other Role Requirements:ย 

  • Strong consulting, facilitation, and coaching skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and relationship-building skills across all levels.
  • Strategic thinking and systems thinking to align performance with business goals.
  • Knowledge of performance frameworks, competency models, engagement strategies, and continuous feedback practices.ย 
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments in-person and in virtual settings.
