Pediatric Associates is seeking a Full-time Outpatient Pediatrician to join our practice in Doral, FL.

Pediatric Associates is Florida’s largest privately owned primary care pediatric practice, with more than 100 locations. From newborns to college students, we offer comprehensive, quality-focused services. Our team of highly qualified Board-Certified Pediatricians and experienced Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants deliver superior care with compassion. Pediatric Associates Family of Companies is the largest pediatric primary care organization in the United States, providing care to over 1.6 million children across more than 250 locations in seven states (Arizona, California, Florida, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Texas). Founded in 1955 in Florida, it is a physician-led, patient-centric network offering comprehensive services.

Position Overview:

  • Full-time Schedule 4 days per week with rotated Saturdays
  • Full-time Float position - Coverage in Miami Lakes, Miami Lakes East, Hialeah, Doral, Blue Lagoon, West Kendall
  • Cover multiple locations throughout Palm Beach County and receive a float stipend
  • Our float clinicians help support the other clinicians by filling in for them while out on leave or PTO; allowing them to enjoy the work-life balance all of our clinicians have come to appreciate. 
  • A float position allows you the benefit of seeing how the various clinics operate and caring for different patient demographics
  • No weekend requirement

Education, Licensure & Certification:

  • M.D. or D.O. degree required
  • Successful completion of an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA) approved post-graduate residency, or equivalent in Pediatrics 
  • Current, Unrestricted license to practice medicine or the ability to obtain in the State of Florida
  • Current, Unrestricted DEA license or the ability to obtain in the State of Florida
  • Board Eligible or Board Certification in Pediatrics within five years of completing training
  • Meets all requirements to obtain medical staff membership and privileges as required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) as required for hospital appointment
