The goal is to enhance partner performance, drive revenue growth, and strengthen long-term relationships. Partner Enablement professionals work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure partners have the knowledge and skills to succeed.

What are common challenges faced in a partner enablement role, and how are they typically addressed?

One common challenge in Partner Enablement is ensuring consistent engagement and knowledge transfer across a diverse set of partner organizations, each with unique needs and expectations. To address this, professionals in the role prioritize clear communication strategies, develop tailored training resources, and leverage technology to track partner progress and feedback. Collaborating closely with sales, marketing, and product teams is also key to keeping partners informed of updates and best practices. This dynamic environment requires adaptability and a proactive approach to help partners succeed and contribute effectively to mutual business goals.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in partner enablement, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Partner Enablement professional, you need a strong background in sales enablement, partner relationship management, and training program development, often supported by experience in channel sales or B2B partnerships. Familiarity with CRM platforms like Salesforce, learning management systems (LMS), and partner portal tools is highly beneficial. Exceptional communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills help build trust and drive engagement with partners. Job description

Description
At Xe, we live currencies . Founded in 1993, Xe is a global leader in currency exchange and international money transfers. What began as a simple currency converter has grown into a platform trusted by over 300 million people each year. We provide a comprehensive range of currency services and products, including our real-time exchange rates, Currency Converter, Market Analysis, Currency Data API, supporting 130+ currencies across 190+ countries with quick, easy, secure Money Transfers for individuals and businesses. We leverage technology to deliver these services through our website, mobile app, and by phone. Backed by Euronet, we process more than $115 billion in global payments annually. Xe is profitable, product-led, and focused on building reliable, user-first tools that make moving money across borders easier for everyone.
Our Principles
At Xe, we value people who take initiative, think big, and follow through. We're curious by nature and not afraid to ask what if or try something new. Everyone's voice matters here. We expect people to speak up, bring ideas, and take ownership of their work. We don't micromanage. We trust each other to make good calls, take responsibility, and move fast when it counts. And we care about community. Not in a vague corporate way, but in the sense that we have each other's backs, stay open to feedback, and build a culture of trust and real collaboration.
  • Ambition We dream big, try things out, and always ask "why not?" and "what if?" We're ambitious in our thinking and our delivery
  • Responsibility. We get involved, bring our perspective, and are always open to new ideas. We take personal responsibility
  • Community. We value a sense of belonging, trusting each other, and encouraging authenticity. We contribute to our community

The Role . Design and own a full Partner Engagement Plan that becomes the operating framework for the function, this includes:
Partner Engagement Plan
  • Partner segmentation . Segment/tier our partner portfolio by partner type, activity status (active/new vs. dormant/signed-but-inactive), and by revenue/referral potential.
  • Engagement cadence . Determine a recurring cadence by segment/tier prioritizing high potential partners.
  • Sales Enablement . Develop a partner pack to give our partners what they need to successfully position Xe to their clients (pitch decks, demos, co-branded assets, etc.).
  • Co-marketing calendar . Develop a co-marketing calendar with high-value partners including webinars, case studies, white papers, conference presence in collaboration with Sales Directors in each region.

Partner Enablement & Growth
  • Equip partners' sales and implementation teams to position Xe accurately and confidently to their prospects and clients
  • Build and maintain sales enablement materials: one-pagers, battlecards, competitive positioning, value proposition
  • Build activation kits and onboarding marketing sequences for newly signed partners so they start promoting Xe quickly
  • Identify and prioritize dormant, already-signed partners; build and run reactivation campaigns to convert them into active referral sources
  • Ensure Xe is properly and consistently represented on partner websites, portals, and marketplaces
  • Develop and execute joint marketing programs with key partners including case studies, white papers, joint webinars, co-branded collateral, or event sponsorship
  • Secure and manage positioning/placement of Xe within partner marketing channels (partner sites, newsletters, partner-led events)
  • Represent Xe in partner-hosted or joint industry events as needed
  • Work closely with the Product Marketer to ensure partner-facing messaging stays aligned with core product positioning
  • Coordinate with the Events/Ops Marketer on partner presence at conferences and shared marketing operations
  • Partner with Sales to localize initiatives by region

How is Success Measured
  • Referral leads generated through partner channels (volume and quality/conversion).
  • Market and ecosystem awareness (e.g., partner site placements, joint content reach, partner-sourced pipeline).
  • Partner activation rate based on leads referred to Xe.

What You Bring
  • You have 5+ years in partner marketing, channel marketing, or alliance marketing - ideally at a B2B SaaS/fintech/payments company with an ISV, embedded, or platform partnership model.
  • You have a track record of building sales enablement and co-marketing programs with technology or ecosystem partners.
