Job Summary:

Under close supervision, this position is responsible for gaining foundational knowledge to assist with ensuring parts are available to truck and trailer technicians for repairs. The incumbent will assist in the management of inventory stock levels, perform audits, and submit orders to maintain an adequate supply of parts. Maintain information systems and processed core and warranty returns according to Company requirements. This position has the possibility to work outdoors, in the elements, or across multiple shifts including nights and/or weekends in addition to overtime; it requires full-time attendance.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Shadow a senior team member to learn how to fulfill parts requests by technicians and ensure parts are properly charged to the unit under repair
  • Observe all Company safety requirements
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Ensure compliance with safety policies
  • Maintain a clean, well-ordered work environment free of trash and hazards
  • Conduct Cycle Counts as required
  • Receive inbound shipments of parts and fuel to ensure proper quantity ordered and free of damage; stock inbound parts to the proper storage location and update information systems

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent; ability to work outdoors, in the elements, or across multiple shifts including nights and/or weekends if needed.
Preferred Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent and up to 1 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience and valid driver's license.

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include skills, education, experience, geography, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
