  • Gain valuable experience in a luxury boutique hotel and marina environment.
  • Build skills that can open doors to a rewarding career in hospitality.
  • Enjoy a collaborative, welcoming workplace where no two days are the same.
What You'll Do

As a Guest Service Agent, you'll play an important role in creating exceptional guest experiences from arrival through departure.

Responsibilities include:

  • Welcome guests with warmth and professionalism during check-in and check-out.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service while anticipating and exceeding guest expectations.
  • Assist guests with concierge services, local recommendations, transportation, and special requests.
  • Answer phones, manage reservations, and respond promptly to guest inquiries.
  • Coordinate closely with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure guest rooms and public areas meet our high standards.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across our collection of properties to provide seamless guest experiences.
  • Process payments, invoices, and maintain accurate records using hotel and marina management systems.
  • Cross-train in marina operations and other departments to support overall property operations.
  • Assist with VIP arrivals, special events, and marina guest services as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
What We're Looking For
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to create genuine connections with guests.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a dynamic environment.
  • Positive attitude, reliability, professionalism, and a willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing to a collaborative team.
  • Hospitality or customer service experience is preferred, but not required—we provide training.
  • Fluency in English (reading, writing, and speaking) is required. Additional languages are a plus.
  • Ability to stand and sit for extended periods and occasionally lift, push, pull, or carry up to 20 pounds.
  • A proactive problem-solver who remains calm and resourceful under pressure.
Schedule & Availability

We are flexible for either Full-Time or Part-Time.

Our front desk is staffed between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM, with occasional after-hours support as business needs require.

Availability to work weekends and holidays is required. Flexible weekday scheduling is available based on business needs and your availability.

Join Our Team

If you're looking for more than just a job, this is an opportunity to become part of a close-knit team dedicated to creating exceptional guest experiences. Whether you're launching your hospitality career or bringing previous experience to a luxury boutique property, Boston Yacht Haven offers a welcoming environment where you can learn, grow, and make a meaningful impact every day.
