Job description

We are seeking an experienced IRT/RTSM Script Writer to support our clients in the life sciences industry with IRT/RTSM design and implementation. This role will focus on IRT (Interactive Response Technology) design support, test script writing, and testing support for clinical trials. The ideal candidate will bring experience working closely with cross-functional clinical study teams, IRT/RTSM vendors, and external partners to ensure test scripts align with IRT design and clinical trial objectives. This is a part-time role.

Key Responsibilities
IRT/RTSM Design and Implementation Support
• Oversee IRT/RTSM design and implementation from user requirement specifications through Go-Live, ensuring alignment with clinical study protocol and functional requirements.
• Participate in client meetings, design sessions, and sandbox testing with the ability to suggest solutions for client problems.
• Develop and manage project plans to ensure timely completion of scripts, incorporating key milestones and activity timelines.
• Communicate IRT/RTSM implementation project status, accomplishments, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
• Identify, escalate, and drive resolution of project-related risks and challenges.
• Support Computer System Validation (CSV) activities for IRT/RTSM.
• Leverage templates and AI to develop scripts for IRT/RTSM User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and EDC integration.
• Provide live UAT testing support.

Qualifications & Experience
• Proven experience writing IRT test scripts for User Acceptance Testing.
• Knowledge of IRT/RTSM solutions, clinical trial design of Phase I-IV clinical trials, & clinical distribution strategies.
• Experience collaborating with IRT/RTSM vendors and cross-functional client teams to ensure seamless study execution.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with the possibility of last-minute schedule changes.
• Available to work flexible hours though primarily standard East Coast business hours.
• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of script writing experience required.
