Superior Aluminum Alloys is seeking a High School Health & Safety Intern for the 2026-2027 school year. This position works directly with our Safety Coordinator and Nurse to gain valuable experience in a foundry setting assisting with administrative tasks and learning about the Health & Safety Departments in our company.ย 

Responsibilities
  • Assist safety coordinator with planning, documentation, training development, communication and various safety office clerical tasks
  • Assist nurse with documentation, employee tracking and various nursing office clerical tasks
  • Part time, 10-20 hours per week M-F for 2026-2027 school year (either or both semesters)
Qualifications
  • Candidate must be a high school senior enrolled in an internship program through their high school
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Superior verbal and written communication
  • High self-motivation and ability to work with a team or independently
  • Familiar with Microsoft software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc) and video / photo editing
