To thrive as a Part Time Workday Integration Developer, you need expertise in software development, experience with Workday Studio, and a solid understanding of HRIS and integration concepts, typically supported by a relevant degree or certifications. Familiarity with Workday-specific integration tools, XML, XSLT, web services, and possibly Workday Integration certification are commonly required. Strong problem-solving, communication, and time management skills help you efficiently deliver solutions and collaborate with stakeholders. These skills are vital for developing and maintaining seamless integrations that support HR processes and business operations.

How do part-time Workday Integration Developers typically manage collaboration and communication with full-time team members?

Part-time Workday Integration Developers often work closely with full-time developers, business analysts, and HR professionals, usually leveraging collaboration tools like Slack, Jira, or Microsoft Teams to stay aligned on project goals. Effective communication and clear documentation are key to ensuring smooth handoffs and progress updates, especially when working across different schedules. Regular check-ins or stand-up meetings are common practice to synchronize tasks, address challenges, and maintain project momentum. Flexibility and proactive communication help bridge any gaps that may arise from part-time availability.
