Position SummaryThe Part Time Teller will provide support and assistance to make sure superior service is provided. Conduct transactions with speed, accuracy and efficiency while meeting or exceeding service quality standards. Assure the financial service needs of everyone are done promptly, accurately, and courteously. Contribute to the growth of the bank by promoting and cross selling bank products and services. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:Portraying a positive company image and engaging in professional and friendly communications with customersProcessing transactions in person, by mail, telephone, fax, emailAssisting clients with account inquiries in a timely and accurate manner and performing all functions associated with account maintenance as requested including, but not limited to: personal and account data changes, address changes, and account closuresAssist with balancing vault, ATM, Night drop, and coin machine as assignedAssist as needed with ATM/Debit card ordering and maintenanceSets up, closes and balances teller stationPossessing and maintaining knowledge of all bank products, services, policies, and proceduresMust be flexible in availability for work scheduleAssisting with the opening/closing of the branch office, as necessaryResolving and following-up on customer complaints and issues to provide and ensure the highest quality servicePossessing excellent communication skills with Branch Managers, co-workers and clientsComplete required BSA and other compliance training as assignedHours are M-F 11am-5:30 and Saturday 8am-12:00 Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)High school diploma or general education degree (GED) 0- 6 months experience in a financial institution or other retail customer service profession with exposure to cash.2 Years Prior teller experience a plusAbility to speak and write clearly and effectively while preparing and maintain confidential transactions and recordsProficient in use of 10-key and other office equipment
