What is part time weekend work from home?

Part time weekend work from home refers to jobs that allow employees to work remotely, typically from their own home, and require them to work only on weekends for a limited number of hours. These jobs can range from customer service and data entry to freelance writing, tutoring, or virtual assistance. They offer flexibility for individuals who need to balance other commitments during the week or who are seeking supplemental income. Most roles require basic computer skills and reliable internet access.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in part time weekend work from home?

To thrive in part-time weekend work-from-home roles, you generally need strong time management, self-motivation, and proficiency in basic computer skills, with some positions requiring a high school diploma or specialized experience. Familiarity with collaboration tools like Zoom, Slack, and project management software is often necessary, depending on the job type. Excellent communication, reliability, and the ability to work independently are standout soft skills in remote work settings. These qualities are essential for meeting deadlines, maintaining productivity, and ensuring effective virtual collaboration without direct supervision.

How do part time weekend work from home roles typically manage communication and collaboration with team members working different schedules?

In part-time weekend work-from-home roles, teams often rely on digital communication tools such as email, messaging apps, and project management platforms to stay connected. Since team members may work at different times, clear documentation and regular check-ins—often asynchronous—help ensure everyone remains updated on tasks and priorities. Many employers provide shared calendars and collaboration tools to streamline handoffs between shifts. This structure allows for flexibility while maintaining productivity and team cohesion.

Job description

Who This Role Is For

You're a licensed associate therapist (LMHCA or LCSWA) in North Carolina who's already accruing post-graduate clinical hours toward full licensure and wants a part-time remote caseload that matters. You want free supervision, a schedule that fits your life, and none of the administrative burden that slows most early-career clinicians down. Daybreak was built for exactly this stage of your career.

What Makes This Different

  • Free supervision — weekly 1:1 and group supervision, fully covered
  • Guaranteed pay for late cancellations and no-shows
  • $35/hr individual sessions (12+) | $45/hr family therapy
  • Part-time W2 position — real employment benefits, not contractor instability
  • Fully remote — work from anywhere in North Carolina
  • Mon–Fri 3–8 PM schedule — predictable, school-aligned hours
  • No billing, no credentialing, no admin — we handle everything
  • 90% of students say we matched them to the right clinician

The Work

You'll provide evidence-based teletherapy to K–12 students across North Carolina, collaborating with school counselors and families statewide. You'll participate in weekly individual and group supervision, case consultations, and contribute to clinical program development.

What You Need

  • Active LMHCA or LCSWA license in North Carolina (required — we are not able to hire other license types at this time)
  • Post-graduate clinical hours already accrued toward full licensure (required — this role is best suited for associates who are actively logging supervised hours, not candidates just beginning their post-graduate track)
  • Experience or strong interest in working with school-aged youth and families
  • Comfortable with telehealth and EHR systems
  • Available Mon–Fri 3–8 PM

Preferred

  • Experience in CBT, DBT, or similar modalities
  • Prior school-based or youth-focused experience
  • Bilingual Spanish/English fluency
  • Active NPI and CAQH
Pay Range
$35—$45 USD
