Security Officer – Part-Time

Now Hiring – Weekend Security Officer (High-Rise Office Building)

Schedule (16 Hours Weekly)

  • Saturday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
  • Sunday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Pay: $16.00–$16.50 per hour (based on experience)

United Protective Services is seeking a professional and dependable Security Officer to provide weekend coverage at a Class A high-rise office building. This position is ideal for an officer who takes pride in providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a visible security presence, and representing both the client and United Protective Services with professionalism.

Position Overview

The Security Officer will maintain a safe and secure environment through proactive patrols, access control, customer service, and accurate documentation. The ideal candidate is dependable, observant, and comfortable working independently in a professional office environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct interior and exterior patrols of the property
  • Monitor building activity and maintain access control
  • Assist tenants, visitors, and vendors with professionalism and courtesy
  • Identify and report safety, maintenance, and security concerns
  • Respond promptly and professionally to incidents and emergencies
  • Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation using company reporting software
