Compensation: $18.00 per hourShifts: Days, Afternoons, OvernightAssignments: Part Time & Weekend Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a strong and visible presence to ensure safety and security.
  • Monitor and control access points, ensuring only authorized personnel enter designated areas.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by assisting guests with directions, inquiries, and general assistance.
  • Conduct routine patrols and inspections of the premises to detect and deter any suspicious or unauthorized activity.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to incidents, emergencies, and alarms, following established protocols.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement, emergency services, and other security personnel as needed.
  • Document and report all incidents, observations, and actions taken during shifts.
  • Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times, reflecting the values of our organization.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 1 year Security Officer experience - preferably in a commercial environment
  • Valid NYS Security Guard License that will not expire for at least 3 months
  • Valid F01/F03/F04, and CPR Certification a strong plus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively
  • Demonstrate customer service skills, including the ability to professionally handle difficult situations
  • Familiarity with security systems, such as surveillance cameras, access control, and alarm systems
  • Excellent observation and problem-solving abilities to identify potential security risks and take appropriate action
  • Physical fitness and ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods, as well as lift and carry heavy objects when required
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Integrity, reliability, and a strong sense of responsibility towards ensuring the safety and well-being of guests and staff
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional relevant certifications or training in security or guest services will be an advantage
