Job description

Weekend/Flex Security Officer
Floater Security Officer

Location: Florence, KY

Schedule: Saturday-Sunday 12am-12pm/ On-Call / As-Needed

  • Must be available to fill in for any day and any shift

Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour

Position Type: On-Call, with potential to move into permanent part-time or full-time employment

Requirements
  • Steel-toed or composite-toe shoes/boots
  • Security experience preferred
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Clean driving record
Position Summary

The Floater Security Officer provides on-site security coverage at various locations as needed. This role focuses on observing, reporting, patrolling, and enforcing site policies to ensure the safety and security of personnel, property, and operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct foot, vehicle, golf cart, and/or other patrols of interior and exterior areas
  • Monitor activity and report suspicious behavior, safety hazards, or incidents
  • Enforce site rules, post orders, and security procedures
  • Complete detailed incident reports and Daily Activity Reports (DARs)
  • Control access to the facility, including logging inbound/outbound traffic
  • Monitor facility access to prevent unauthorized entry
  • Respond to emergency situations and provide assistance as needed
  • Deliver professional customer service while maintaining a secure environment
