Part Time Security Officer 

Location: Peabody, MA

Shift(s): Friday-Sunday, afternoon/evening hours (Shifts can vary depending on site needs)

*Must have weekend availability 

Pay Rate: $18.03/hour

 
Securitas Security Services is seeking a reliable and professional Part-Time Weekend Security Officer to provide a safe and secure environment at a high-traffic retail property in Peabody, MA. This role requires strong observational skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to respond effectively to a variety of situations.

Key Responsibilities 

  •  Conduct regular patrols of the property, including interior and exterior areas

  • Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to ensure safety and security
  • Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and alarms
  • Provide assistance and directions to visitors, tenants, and staff
  • Enforce property rules, regulations, and policies
  • Write detailed incident and daily activity reports
  • Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary
  • Identify and report safety hazards or suspicious activity

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous security or customer service experience preferred

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
