Job description

Pepsi of Worcester & Windham is a family-owned and operated independent Pepsi franchise in operation since 1956. We service the greater Worcester County, MA and Windham County, CT areas.
Part-Time Weekend Merchandiser
This position is responsible for merchandising within large volume stores (Grocery, Mass Merch, etc.) Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays. This includes stocking and rotating product on shelves, displays and in coolers, organizing and rotating product in storage rooms, and moving product from storage to sales floor. This position is labor intensive, requiring lifting, loading, pushing and pulling cases weighing from 10-40 pounds per case repeatedly over an 8-12-hour work period, as well as bending, reaching and squatting while merchandising and moving products.
PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES
*Merchandise store shelving, coolers and displays with product in assigned accounts.
*Rotate product in the backroom and on shelf.
*Transport products to and from backroom to shelf location.
*Use equipment (e.g. U Boats, pallet jacks, hand trucks, etc.) to transport products.
*Keep back-room stock in neat and orderly condition.
*Communicate store issues to store managers and Pepsi management.
*Follow merchandising standards set forth by Pepsi policy.
*Deliver customer service (e.g. communication, rapport building, attentiveness to customer needs, etc.).
*Ability to operate independently and unsupervised.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
*18 years or older.
*High School Diploma or GED (exception for students currently attending school).
*Pass background check, drug screening and physical.
*Must have reliable transportation.
*Must be able to think critically when minor issues arise.
*Comfortable with navigating Microsoft apps and services, Windows 10 and the iOS operating systems.
*Valid driver's license.
*Clean three-year driving record.
*Previous experience is preferred, but not necessary.
The pay range for this role is:
22.51 - 22.51 USD per hour (Dayville)
