BrightStar Care is looking for compassionate and skilled RNs and LPNs to conduct nursing visits with clients across the Chicago area. Current needs are for Visits between 6pm-9pm. Visit types vary and may include medication management, wound care, bowel programs, and general wellness checks. Visits are short (1-4 hours) and schedules are flexible, making this an ideal opportunity for nurses seeking autonomy and work-life balance. Responsibilitiesย 

  • Perform care as defined by clientโ€™s individual Plan of Care and within scope of stateโ€™s nurse practice act
  • Monitor patientโ€™s condition and notify appropriate personnel of any changes
  • Provide those services requiring substantial and specialized nursing skill
  • Assures proper maintenance of clinical records in compliance with local, state and federal laws
  • Counsels the client and family in meeting nursing and related needsย 

Requirementsย 

  • Current unrestricted RN license in state for which care is being provided
  • Preferred: Bachelorโ€™s degree in Nursing. Must have graduated from a National League of Nursing accredited program
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience
  • Reliable car/auto insurance
  • Clean background and criminal record
  • Understands regulatory compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Adhere to HIPAA and maintain client confidentialityย
