Part-Time Glass Inspector
Flexible scheduling, up to 28 hours
We are looking for dependable, detail-oriented individuals to join our production team on a part-time basis. This role will focus on glass inspection, quality control, and general production support. Available shifts are on the weekends and in the evenings. Up to 28 hours per week with weekly paychecks.
Key Responsibilities-
  • Inspect glass using check fixtures to verify all measurable specifications on and off the production line.
  • Evaluate visual quality, including surface condition, edgework, and sizing.
  • Identify defects and pack glass according to established packaging guidelines.
  • Rework glass when required to meet quality standards.
  • Support daily production needs and adjust to workflow demands.
  • Collect quality control data as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area.
  • Assist with pattern changes and related production adjustments.

Qualifications & Skills
  • Previous manufacturing experience preferred, but not required
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Reliable, safety-minded, and able to work independently.

Physical Requirements, Safety, and Work Environment
  • Work performed in typical manufacturing conditions, including warm environments.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
  • Ability to push, pull, grip hand tools, reach, see, hear and speak clearly.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Must follow all posted security procedures and PPE requirements.
