Role: Part Time Weekend Safety & Security Specialist

Team: Safety and Security

Reports To:Safety and Security Manager

Location:Reno, NV

Compensation: $21.59/hour (night shift receives +$2.00/hour differential)

Hiring for one Day Shift (6:00am-6:00pm) AND one Night Shift (6:00pm-6:00am)

What You'll Do/Job Functions:

  • Monitors & patrols multiple sites on foot and/or bicycle, checks for unsafe conditions, hazards etc.
  • Responds to incidents of work-related injury, medical emergency, fire, threats, suspicious activity etc.
  • Observe and report activities and incidents.
  • Controls & monitors access into all buildings.
  • Prepare accurate logs and reports as needed.
  • Works closely with other security personnel, management, employees & visitors.
  • Learn and understand basic OSHA and Fire laws.
  • Additional duties as assigned by department manager/leaders.

Physical Requirements:

Some requirements may exclude individuals who pose a direct threat or significant risk to the health and safety of themselves, other associates, or guests.

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly and carry for up to 50 feet.
  • Able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Bending and lifting repetitively throughout the day.
  • Ability to work in a small physical space that can be loud at times.

Schedule

This position requires 12-hour shifts, Saturday and Sunday. Also looking for someone who is flexible to help cover extra shift when needed.

This position is On-Site, requiring employees to work at our Reno, NV and/or Verdi, NV facilities during scheduled working hours.
