Part Time Family Practice Physician - Parrish, AlabamaJoin us in delivering compassionate, high-quality care to patients of all ages in a supportive and dynamic environment. As a Family Practice Physician, you'll play a vital role in our community's health by providing comprehensive care & collaborating with qualified mid-level providers. This is your opportunity to build lasting relationships with patients and contribute to their health journey in a community where your impact matters!Flexible part time schedule, no weekends, no hospital admitting (full time available as well)

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose & treat patient's medical conditions

  • Initiate & interpret labs and x-ray studies including CTs & MRIs

  • Perform medical procedures

  • Complete patients' charts indicating status & treatment procedures performed

  • Conducting follow-up patient care, education & referrals

  • Supervise patient care & support staff to ensure operational excellence

  • Perform emergency lifesaving procedures in cases such as cardiac arrest, respiratory arrest, massive hemorrhage, or similar emergencies

  • Collaborate with nurse practitioners giving medical oversight, consultation & referrals of nurse practitioner patients 

  • Be present a minimum of ten percent (10%) of nurse practitioner’s collaboration time

Qualifications:

  • MD or DO from an accredited educational institution

  • Unrestricted license to practice medicine in Alabama

  • Demonstrated expertise in relevant medical practices & emergency situations 

  • J-1 Visa accepted for employment
